Hello Edinburgh!

Guess who's back again! A lot happened since the last post, including a trip to Manchester, a ball, New Year's Eve and us miserably dying trying to write four essays. Unfortunately, we did not have enough photos to write good quality articles. But we do have some of our Edinburgh trip last weekend! #yas
We went there by bus, it takes around 3 hours to go from Lancaster to Edinburgh. It offered us astonishing views as soon as we arrived. Unfortunately again, the city offered us a miserable weather as well, so the photos I took are from my iPhone, not from my camera. I hope you will enjoy them as much as we do anyway.

Due to the weather, we did not get the chance to visit every part of Edinburgh (including Arthur's seat), but we managed to visit the old town.

(guys i want one for next Christmas)

(this one looks better in full size)

As we were starving like every minute of our lives, we went to The Outsider (George IV Bridge, Edinburgh EH1 1EE) and it was freakin yummy. They offered us garlic bread as appetizers and I went for mussels with bacon, creamy parmesan sauce and fries.

(from left to right: Elisa, Marion, Julia, Alexia, Marie, Clément; starving)

We then climbed the old town to reach the castle, as we tried to not drown under the rain and slip on the pavement at the same time.

 (cute tourists)

We went back to campus at around 10pm!
More stories to come,
Take care
M
